Efficiency Comparison and Cluster Solution
In terms of spraying efficiency, the agricultural unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and the Lanjiang Orchard multifunctional robot exhibit significantly different characteristics. As we know, agricultural UAVs, due to their rapid flight and efficient spraying capabilities, can cover thousands of acres of land in a single day in field operations.
However, UAVs achieve lower operational efficiency in the orchard environment. Based on field data, a typical UAV covers 120-150 acres per day. Although this is less efficient than in open fields, it still represents a vast improvement over manual methods.
In contrast, the Lanjiang Orchard multifunctional robot features bi-directional spraying and a large-capacity tank. Its 450L tank holds ten times more pesticide than a typical UAV. This allows for 6-8 hours of continuous operation, eliminating the need for frequent refills or recharges.
Taking Guangxi citrus orchards as an example, it has been measured that the robot can cover 15 acres per hour, making it easy to cover 120-150 acres per day.
We have also equipped large orchards with an intelligent replenishment platform cluster solution, providing standardized dosing and range replenishment through a 3000L replenishment vehicle. Multiple sensors monitor the pesticide and oil levels, as well as the location of the orchard robots.
Backend intelligent algorithms calculate the optimal replenishment plan, compressing the replenishment time for each orchard robot to 3 minutes. This significantly boosts efficiency, enabling coverage of 30 acres per hour and 240-300 acres per day, building upon the original operational efficiency.
In summary, the operational efficiency of a single device is comparable to that of UAVs. However, with our cluster solution, operational efficiency far exceeds that of UAVs. This allows for faster completion of spraying operations and better savings in orchard labor costs.
