Technical Sales Specialist
(Europe / South America)
Role Summary
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will act as the bridge between our innovative agricultural technology and the customers who need it. You will engage with farmers, distributors, and agribusinesses—understanding their pain points and presenting tailored solutions that drive value.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic technical support to customers and help them understand product features and benefits
- Conduct client consultations and product demonstrations
- Understand customer needs and align them with LJ Tech’s smart agricultural solutions
- Assist in developing and executing regional sales strategies
- Ensure customer satisfaction through technical expertise and clear communication
- Work closely with the Field Service team to ensure a seamless customer experience
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Sales to identify opportunities, close deals, and meet sales targets
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple, accessible way
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Agriculture Technology, or a related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with agricultural machinery or smart farming technology is a plus
- For South America-based roles: Spanish proficiency is required; English is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and passport (willingness to travel for client meetings and regional events)
Field Service Technician
(Europe / South America)
Role Summary
The Field Service Technician is the backbone of our after-sales support. You will ensure that our agricultural robots perform reliably in the field—minimizing downtime and maximizing customer satisfaction through expert installation, maintenance, training, diagnostics, and repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of agricultural equipment
- Diagnose technical issues and execute timely repairs
- Provide hands-on training to customers and local distributors
- Document service activities and report recurring issues to the engineering team for continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or technical support (agricultural or industrial machinery preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, especially under time constraints and in remote locations
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 60–70%) across the assigned region, sometimes on short notice
- Familiarity with precision agriculture technologies (e.g., GPS guidance, telematics, variable rate technology) is a strong plus
- For South America-based roles: Spanish proficiency is required; English is a plus.
