Multifunctional Orchard Robot Makes Debut at Pear Orchard Mechanization Training Conference

The Jiangsu Province Pear Orchard Mechanization Production Technology Training and On-site Observation Conference brought together numerous experts in the field of pear farming machinery and equipment.

They delved into the development trends, issues, and solutions regarding mechanized production in the pear industry. The aim is to promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading in the pear industry of Jiangsu Province.

Addressing the problems associated with traditional manual pesticide application, such as low utilization rates, high health risks, uneven application, and low efficiency, has increased crop protection costs and posed threats to both crops and human health.

Introducing modern plant protection robots has become an inevitable choice to enhance pesticide application efficiency, reduce waste, and lower health risks. During the on-site visits, the demonstration area of the mechanized production of pear orchards at the Xinbei Promotion Base became the focal point.

The tracked multifunctional robot developed by Lanjiang Technology attracted widespread attention. The staff explained, ‘This robot utilizes a highly accurate positioning system for fully autonomous operation, enabling it to autonomously plan routes and accurately identify fruit trees.

Additionally, it employs a misting system jointly developed by universities, ensuring uniform and efficient pesticide spraying, effectively penetrating leaf surfaces to ensure thorough pest control. This innovative technology significantly enhances crop protection effectiveness, greatly reduces pesticide waste, and reduces the health risks associated with manual operation.'”
